Saturday Mornings of the 80's

I've decided to post more animated ads from that wonderful age known as the 80's!
I was an avid watcher of the old Pac-Man series!

No F-ing way! They had a Pac-Man cartoon? I don't believe that one! That would have been wicked! Although, when you consider that I never knew that, then one must believe that the show really stank and tanked, and was cancelled very quickly.

Actually, if I remember correctly, it lasted a few seasons. I've seen the show recently and yeah, it did kinda' stink. I remember they even introduced a character called Super-Pac. An arrogant super-hero who rode a chopper.

Wow. I came on this page belatedly, but those ads are awesome! They totally bring back a lot of memories. Thanks for posting these, J.E. Daniels!

I have several ads like that myself. I should see if I have some that I could share...

And, Shane: You didn't miss anything regarding the Pac-Man cartoon. Pac-Man was reduced to a befuddled George Jetson archetype, dealing with annoying Baby Pacs and obnoxious Super Pacs, etc. Hanna-Barbera destroyed the possibilities of this cartoon by turning it into their formulaic pap.
