Sideshow Bob Wins Emmy

Kelsey Grammer's trademark smooth, deep voice has helped net the actor another Emmy Award.

The U.S. Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced Wednesday a list of Emmy winners for categories that are decided by jury.

Grammer has won an Emmy — his fifth — in the category of outstanding voice-over performance for his recurring role as the urbane but evil criminal Sideshow Bob on the animated series The Simpsons.

Sideshow Bob, the former sidekick to the character Krusty the Clown, is always foiled in his nefarious plots by Bart and Lisa Simpson.
