A "What-A-Cartoon" Cartoon

What's a Saturday morning without watching a wacky cartoon? Seems that this story is totally inspired by Tex Avery's Screwy Squirrel. Funny stuff!

Does anyone know who the creators for this short was? And what is the name of the lead characters?

Oh THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU for posting this cartoon, I have been trying to find it everywhere on the net. As compensation here's some info. The possum's name is Sledgehammer O'Possum but I don't know what the yellow dog thing is is called. The name of this short is "Out and About" and was created by Patrick Ventura. There is another O'Possum short called "What's goin' on back there !". Ventura did some other great work which included two brand new George and Junior shorts, and another original character named Yuckie Duck. All these shorts were on Cartoon Network's "What-A-Cartoon!" show.
