Loonatics Unleashed on DVD

The "tribute" show to the classic Looney Tunes, Loonatics Unleashed is heading to DVD this spring.
TVshowsonDVD.com has released the news and a look at the cover art here:
Personally, I don't care for the series at all. I know it's Warners way of entertaining today's audience but why not try to make an original show. This anime-inspired, "Batman Beyond-esque" kiddie show does not do the Looney Tunes characters justice at all. But that's just my opinion.
If you like the show, then you will be glad to know that this collection has all of the 13 episodes of season 1 at an affordable price.

Fraggle Rock Feature Begins

Created by the late Jim Henson, Fraggle Rock premiered on HBO in the early 80's and lasted five seasons.
Now they're going to be returning in the form of a big screen feature film. The story will revolve around the Fraggles going on their first adventure to "outer space" where they will interact with "strange aliens" known as humans.

Simpsons Movie Update

Kelsey Grammer is happy to report that with "The Simpsons Movie" headed to the big screen in 2007, he's already provided the voice for his popular homicidal maniac character Sideshow Bob. "It's just a blurb. I think it's like two lines, but a 'Simpsons' movie without Sideshow Bob would probably be an affront to all that is sensible in our culture," he says with a laugh. "I did win an Emmy this year for him, so I was very happy about that. He's one of the great villains of our time."

Strip of the Week

I found a wacky story in DC Comics' Looney Tunes #94 where Taz, Bugs, Daffy & Fudd have their personalities switched!
I love David Alveraz's art for the Looney Tunes. He uses great expressions and his style is very fluid which adds a great deal of motion to the "un-animated" action.
