Tex Avery's Droopy: The Complete Theatrical Collection

I was lucky enough to pick up a copy of this brand new DVD collection featuring some of the best Tex Avery cartoons from MGM.
These classic cartoons bring back a lot of memories. Droopy was an all time favorite of mine and still is. After Tex Avery left Warner Bros, Droopy was one of his first MGM major characters following the Wolf.
You will find all of Droopy's 24 cartoon pictures with the last 7 in their original CinemaScope aspect ratios (16x9 letterbox)! The last 6 Droopy cartoons are taken over by animation director Michael Lah who carries on Tex's great tradition of hilarious slapstick.
The only major problem with the set are that 4 cartoons feature terrible DVNR problems that tend to disrupt the ordinarily crisp animation.
If your a fan of classic animation from the Golden Age, pick it up. If your a fan of cartoons, pick it up. If your looking for any DVD collection, pick it up. If Warner Bros Home Video sees great sales of this collection, it is possible they will release a complete Tex Avery collection, so pick it up!
