Tex Avery's Wolf & Red in "Watchdogged Wolf"

Since it's the summer months, I figured I would post a story that fits the season.
In the early '90s, Dark Horse Comics decided to make a limited line of Tex Avery books with new stories featuring his creations in the same wacky vain of the animated cartoons!
This story was featured in a 1995 issue of Tex Avery's Wolf & Red!

Do you happen to have any of the solo Screwy Squirrel comics also published by dark horse?

No I don't.
The art and stories never seemed that interesting.
There is a solo story in one of the Wolf & Reds, but the story is too "talkie".

This one was good. Although I would've replaced Screwy Squirrel with Droo
py.

They had Droopy in the previous issue, guess they wanted to "mix" things up....

Ah, the mid-1990s, when the word "crap" was still fair game in kids' entertainment...
