This interview is from 1982 or so, before the premire of Bugs Bunny's Third Movie: 1001 Rabbit Tales.

Grinch Toys Pictures!

Check out the 3D Chuck Jones designs in McFarlane toy form!

I have my eye set on the Grinch & Max combo as well as the heart-meter....

The Cuckoo Clock

A Tex Avery classic if there was ever one......

Flip the Frog in Room Runners (1932)

I have a growing respect for the old black 'n whites from the 1930s.
I am surprised at the quality of this short and the excessive Adult theme happening throughout.
Bravo!

Inspired by Coyote's latest post on his "The Acme Factory" blog,
http://acmefactory.blogspot.com/2007/06/roger-rabbit1989.html
may I present an in-depth interview with the people who were resposible for Roger Rabbit's "Tummy Trouble".
And finally, here is the final product for your enjoyment needs!

All The Cats Join In

The classic animated segment from the 1944 animated feature "Make Mine Music" from Disney.

Samurai Jack to Hit Big Screen?

According to Animated News, mmmmm....could be!
"Among the projects currently planned, the most noticable is a feature film based on Cartoon Network’s Samurai Jack with creator Genndy Tartakovsky attached to write and direct."

Fantastic Fred

Here's a story that was published in a 1978 issue of The Flintstones from Marvel Comics.
Not to sure who is responsible for this one, but if it's the same people who worked on the main story of this issue, Mark Evanier - Writer Dick Bickenbach - Artist Lee Hooper - Inker Garrett Gafford - Color.

How'd This Get by The Censors?

Hey folks! I picked up a copy of Animaniacs: Volume 3 on DVD the other day, I hope to have a review up soon!
Finally I can comment on a scene that has always left me wondering "how did they get away with that?"
In the Minerva Mink cartoon, "Meet Minerva", a frog does a wild take that closely ressembles a..... well, you can judge it for yourself.
Here's how the scene looks in action:

New T-Formers Toon in 08!

Check out this scanned article that has surfaced on the web sporting the new animated-design of Optimus Prime from the upcoming Transformers: Animated!
It's the '80s all over again, isn't it?
I just hope it's nothing like the latest, poorer renditions of these great animated robots.

Roger Rabbit Tex Avery Tribute?

I suspect that it's simply a tribute to the cartoon king, or maybe pure cartoon-plagerism.
Check out these 2 screencaps from Tex Avery's Droopy cartoon "Double Trouble" and Roger Rabbit's cartoon "Tummy Trouble".
Notice any similarities?

What do Optimus Prime and Eeyore Have in Common?

Peter Cullen of course!
According to SCI FI Wire, Cullen is reviving his Eeyore career once again for the new show, My Friends Tigger & Pooh.
http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire/index.php?category=0&id=41930
"I guess there's a segment of the population who knows me more as Eeyore than Optimus," Cullen said with a laugh.

Animaniacs & Freakazoid! Crossover

Way back in 1998, in issue 35 of DC Comics' Animaniacs, Freakazoid was paired up with the Warner Brothers in an amusing story called "Tour De Freak".
Written by Jennifer Moore & Sean Carolan, pencilled by Leonardo Batic, inked by Scott McRae, lettered by John Costanza and colored by Prismacolor.

My Roadrunner Pics

I recently came across a Roadrunner at a car show out of town.
I'm not really a "gear-head" but if I was to choose a classic car to own, it would have to be the Roadrunner. Just for the cartoon buff in me. The final decal had a copyright of Warner Bros & Seven Arts.

Timon & Pumbaa: "Stand by Me"

This was the only theatrical cartoon created starring the 2 stars from Disney's The Lion King.
This 1995 short was played in front of the film, Tom & Huck. It's not available on DVD, but it was featured on the VHS "The Best of Roger Rabbit".

Roger Rabbit in "Toon Alone"

By popular demand, (alright, just Duck Dodgers...) may I present the next Maroon Cartoon comic story featured in Disney Comics' Roger Rabbit issue 16. Published in 1991.
Written by Doug Murray, Art by Bill White & Valerie Dalchele, letters by Bill Pearson.
